I went today to a Mexican grocery supermarket. It was so fun and many items that I never knew existed, is like opening a new world haha. I bought some fresh tortilla and jalapeños pickles. What else should I buy? Or what is a MUST try product or snack from there?

Chicharrones and goya strawberry juice. these two things are core childhood memories😍 Also, sometimes the markets with have a food stand inside and the tacos and tamales are usually absolutely delicious (and cheap)!

I saw chicharrones but I don't eat pork so can't try lol. Need to try tamales though and goya strawberry juice. Can I ask also there are some many jellies there as desert, do you recommend those?

I don't think I've ever tried them! Full disclosure I'm Puerto Rican so a lot of the time if I've been in a Hispanic or Mexican market I'm looking for specific things for a family recipe. I only know of some things that either crossed over culturally or someone else showed me
