Hi everyone, I have a cousin who has been living in Toronto for almost a year now, and she's finding it very hard to get a job. She has two small kids, aged 2 and 5 years and is finding hard to make ends meet as her hubby only works. She's an accountant by profession, but she's open to doing any type of work. For those who are local to Toronto, where do you usually look for jobs? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's often challenging for newcomers to 🇨🇦 because many jobs require previous local experience; except for those with high demand skills. Fwiw, I heard that moving away from Toronto/Montreal makes it much easier to find jobs, with way less competition. Plus the beauty of Canadian people and nature ❤️ 🍁

Hey Ina, has she tried applying to jobs on LinkedIn? My friend is an accountant and he says there’s a good amount of accounting jobs here. She has her CPA right?
