Dune book series tails off quickly to bad. Hyperion’s Shrike will forever be laser etched into my brain. Three body problem series grates because of the cultural differences (and slow!) but is objectively good. Foundation is of its time and Asimov is the 🐐 I like hard science fiction like Clarke or Bova (Red -> Green Mars) and for escapism some of Iain M Bank’s Culture.
