i just discovered one of the OG lead engineers of neopets is here on fc and i am SCREECHING my inner child is absolutely losing it right now i feel like i've just met one of the biggest celebrities ever i don't think i've ever fangirled this hard before

One of my fondest memories of gaming and community as a kid is NeoPets. I'm on a mission to recover my account, which is 19 years old - and has some aaaabsolute TREASURES like my WoK avatar, and my Fire Krawk and Pirate Draik/Yurble. So effing cool to see you here all these years later on Warpcast!

Thank you! And you and me both! I've been trying to regain access to my account for years! :( When I started at NeoPets, hotmail was THE email client... I haven't had that email for almost 2 decades. 🥲 I've been through so many agents trying to recover my account. 😂 My poor Lupe is in serious trouble!

Hah! My real flex was that I named my guild the Jeff Buckley Guild over 23 years ago. My daughter thought I only became a Jeff Buckley fan because of her... little did she know!

Oh man I forgot all about guilds! I just have such fond memories of getting home from school, firing up the message boards, crushing some Typing Terror, and hanging out with everyone. Nothing scratches the itch of old school NeoPets except maybe old-school RuneScape - but not quite the same.
