I am divorced and my new man is a widower. We've been in a relationship for two years. We each have grown children at home, so we met in hotels. I loved him more than life. He proposed twice. The only thing holding us back was the apartment issue. I was considering options for a swap when he casually blurted out that his kids didn't even know about me. “I'll tell them when the time comes.” Okay, already without any illusions I continue our meetings, purely “for health”, for another 2 years. Yesterday he talked about big problems in the family, in the children. Asked for a loan of any amount. I refused, answering that I am not a member of his family, by his own decision. He was offended, does not write, does not call. I “left a man in trouble” and “exchanged love for money”. Somehow I'm not ashamed. #life #history #interesting

Hi everyone, I have a cousin who has been living in Toronto for almost a year now, and she's finding it very hard to get a job. She has two small kids, aged 2 and 5 years and is finding hard to make ends meet as her hubby only works. She's an accountant by profession, but she's open to doing any type of work. One of the consequences of this is that platforms have an incentive to make things not be interoperable with other platforms, as it's their competitive advantage. Builders who choose a single wallet-chain ecosystem will get more distribution, support, funding & even possibly preferential tx execution than builders who choose to try to go multi platform. We saw glimpses of this with web3 social. The social apps that aggregated rather than betting one protocol were both less liked by the tribal users of individual protocols, and also less promoted by the protocols themselves. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out, as OP and ZkSync have incentives to make things more interoperable, while the wallet-chain platforms have an incentive to build lasting moats.
