I am divorced and my new man is a widower. We've been in a relationship for two years. We each have grown children at home, so we met in hotels. I loved him more than life. He proposed twice. The only thing holding us back was the apartment issue. I was considering options for a swap when he casually blurted out that his kids didn't even know about me.
“I'll tell them when the time comes.” Okay, already without any illusions I continue our meetings, purely “for health”, for another 2 years. Yesterday he talked about big problems in the family, in the children. Asked for a loan of any amount. I refused, answering that I am not a member of his family, by his own decision.
He was offended, does not write, does not call. I “left a man in trouble” and “exchanged love for money”. Somehow I'm not ashamed.

The first COVID-19 case in Turkey was diagnosed on March 11, 2020. By March 16, places of worship were closed to curb the virus’s spread, a shock to the community. As conditions improved, mosques reopened under strict hygiene and social distancing rules, with municipal teams disinfecting public spaces.
I captured this photo on May 28, 2020, before first Friday prayer in new normal. The emptiness in the mosque was profound, symbolizing the loneliness and resilience of humanity during those dark times. The scene, with its solar system-like lamps and a lone person sanitizing, felt like an ode to the sacrifices and bravery of frontline workers who prioritized others' safety over their own.

Girls, is there life after divorce? I left my husband with a baby. I live with my parents. My husband cheated, and I'm not ready to put up with it. But I wonder what they lack that they run away? The house is clean, tidy, the child is there, the salary is good and we quarreled rarely and on trifles.

My parents are making me start to hate my older sister and my nephew. He's my parents' first grandchild. I'm constantly being poked at by my nephew. I have to listen to all the songs and rhymes a three year old can tell on the phone. I just called my mom to tell her how my day went. My business, my family is not interesting. It's all about my sister and my grandson. My mom didn't even congratulate me on my wedding anniversary - she forgot, she was playing with her grandson. My sister stresses my parents: if they don't give me money, you won't see your grandson. And I'm the bad one - I'm not interested in my nephew and I don't communicate with my sister.

Climate Change is one of the biggest problems of humanity.

Compared to 50 years ago,only 2 percent of the water is in Lake Tuz today. It barely reaches 30 percent in the winter season. There are many different reasons for this, such as global warming. Living in one of the most beautiful places in this world requires taking responsibility.

The lake must be urgently protected. We must consider our future, not only the moment we live in.
We have to—we must—save Lake Tuz.

My friend's husband is a tyrant. She can't get rid of him. They live at her place, he broke all her furniture, just beating everything with his fists, TV, phone, windows. He talks to other women in front of her, says he loves her openly. When she tries to throw him out with his stuff, he starts breaking and smashing everything. She's got no family to stand up for him. He drinks almost every day, he's a gambler, he loses almost all his paychecks. What can she do? She's exhausted.
