How to improve your leaderboard ranking

1. Choose a niche to a top 1% caster on Farcaster today and try to have one extra thoughtful cast a day (like a mini blog post)

2. More generally, cast *a lot* (many times a day); doesn't need to be about the above niche

3. Use catchy, brief titles, see @balajis

4. Make your casts text-heavy

5. Write text in short paragraphs (2-3 lines max); avoid wall of text

6. Include one embed only (link/image/video)

7. Engage: Reply to comments

8. Direct message followers your most important posts

9. Create niche-focused group chats and post links to your casts to help kickstart engagement

Yeah I totally agree.  I try to avoid it, but understand use case. I did it like once before channel announcements became a thing. 

Totally not saying its a bad thing, I just wasn't sure if there was some sort of way to mass blast to all your followers. but thats cleared up

It’s a common growth tactic, but to your point it’s not used as often here. Doesn’t mean it’s bad to authentically want someone’s opinion on a specific take or to take that conversation offline in the DMs
