What hackathons are currently, mostly aren’t meant.

But looking forward, exactly who hackathons need more of and calling shots in the projects.

That piggy wallet is a great example, barely any dev, most stuff is hardcoded and the rest barely functioning.

Just need to put something on chain to show that metamask pop up for everyone to go wow.

And then do it for the cause like for argentinian kids.

Present figma prototype as a demo because going through the live app would be horrific.

From most of the answers there, the short answer is that designers are not meant for hackathons. I love your take, and I really hope that the ecosystem can change for web3, but since their appearance (we're talking 1999), hackathons have always been dev-centric, even if tracks can change this.

Agree, and there are now lots of tracks for best consumer facing app like from WorldID, and devs are going to struggle with those for sure
