Does anyone have any recommendations for memoirs of legitimately normal, regular people (not famous, not someone who had a major accomplishment but just wasn't recognized properly to be famous, someone who is genuinely just a regular everyday person you'd walk by on the street)? What makes you read books like this?

Tuesdays with Morrie! I honestly don’t know what made me pick up this book, but I’m seriously glad I did! It talks about life’s greatest lessons through dialogue between a dying professor and his student! It’s a beautiful book and I can’t recommend it enough.

I'm busy with one... it might be a while though! One day. Some day. It will be written.

An American Childhood by Annie Dillard. She captures the transition from childhood to adulthood in a way I’ve never seen anywhere else
