my mom would read this book to us growing up; so simple, yet so profound

i was a v tough kid to raise; my proudest achievement is winning back the favor of my parents + siblings

my main motivation is being able to care for my family, parents included, as we keep growing through the cycles of life

Reminds me of this saying that came with a bracelet my mom gave me. I liked it so I keep it in my desk and pull it out when I need to feel them close, living so far away.
