Never understood why sharing and community not emphasized in Spotify. Nothing is better social compatibility measure than music taste.

Spotify is for passive listening, community volume would need to be enormous to truly provide value for artists via streams — it would need to evolve as another source of income for artists not tied to streams. From my perspective, it needs to be an outlier that creates the solution(s)

Not so sure. I would love to know what "people with my taste" are listening to, and maybe connect with them. Creating communities of vibes would give more reason to listen and say, buy concert tickets.

Great points. Interactions on specific tracks could also be valuable, like comments or reactions on specific time stamps. SoundCloud does this well but more visibility on the feed could potentially makes this stick more. So much room here.
