1) The difference vs @gigamesh's chart could be due to ranking by value rather than raw tonnage. See investopedia link below. 2) As of 2022, the US was still a net food exporter and China is still a net importer. But China is pushing hard to become self-sufficient. 3) I attached table and screenshot below. May be a difference in definitions.
