Nice. So cool. We have a young olive tree in the garden. It has 2 olives this year :). So, this is the first pressing. Do you have now discs that can be used for the second pressing? Do you do that yourself or do you sell it on? Or is it discarded? Oh, so many questions. But this is really something I love seeing and learning more of. 270 $degen

This is the cold pressing. It takes whole olive and press it into a one mass and then uses the centrifugal force of rotation to separate the oil from the olive paste (including flesh, skin, and pits) and water. We use it for ourself mostly, this year was the best since 1967, we had like 300% more olives then last year so we will sell something. We had around 1500kg of olives and got around 200L of oil

Ah cool. Very interesting. I was staying in Italy a while ago in an agriturismo. They pressed and collected the skins and stones in a disc that they sold to a factory that would do a second pressing (with heat).
