Need help moving:

a) deep suburbs, close to parents, aesthetics are those of soulless suburbia, need a car for everything

b) beautiful walkable neighborhood, everything is close, 45 mins way from parents, aesthetics are superbs

is being a 5 mins from parents >>> ? 

I have a subtle fear that my soul will die in the suburbs 🙃

I did a suburb move during Covid after leaving New York. 12 mins from folks. Soulless place, hated it

Moved back to a city, walkable, more affordable than nyc, loving it
