I had to go seek that though. The badge shouldn't just be about who you know and who you know the only way to get a badge. If the point is to promote "interesting" content over not, there are plenty of people with the badge making and promoting low effort and boring content engagement farming. And good content hidden.

That's missing the point, I think. PBers are encouraged to share good content around from ppl with or without PB. See something you like from someone without PB? Take a min, follow, like and genuinely comment. We have to curate PBs ourselves, kinda. Seek new content/channel, seek new casters.

Take a look at my feed sometime. I do as much as I can to promote other people, especially artists. I leave thoughtful comments, tip and QC work every single day. I mention people and reply to boost. I participate in /powermonday to spread. When I didn't have a badge, it was frustrating waiting to be shared! I try!!

I feel you on this though.. And this you just described is the right thing to do, of which I can testify to few others doing the same. So it's just about we advocating this good culture among other PBs and deserving users can be brought to limelight therefrom. Like a friend would say, PB is a necessary evil

I agree but I almost don’t even have time to post my own work anymore. All this feels like such unnecessary complication because the rules are unfair and the one person who can change it doesn’t want to because “no system is perfect” even though this one’s flaws are really bad and there are better options.
