So, I noticed a tic of LLM writing awhile back, a dead giveaway for generated output. "It's not so much X, but rather is Y" and a ton of variations of it. I'm seeing it eeeevvvverrryyywhere now. Almost every news article, tons of posts on social media. The internet as we know it is dead. Gonna be wild to see where this goes.

that doesn't sound bad on the abstract level, it might push a slightly more non-binary understanding of things

For sure. [In my best LLM mirror vernacular lol] It's not so much that the style reflects a poor cognitive scaffolding, but rather that the internet as a means of connecting humans is being overrun. Think of it like this - [lol I don't know how to write an Em dash] in the vast ocean of the internet, most of the the fish we find are made of bits and bytes rather than the flesh and bones of humanity.

you can take my em dash—I don't need it anymore as the LLMs ruined the fun of using it
