I haven’t been running regularly this summer. I tried to do a 20 minute run today and was disappointed: - I couldn’t do it without a walking break - avg pace 14.3 min/mile - had some stiffness in one of my knees - something I took for granted when I was younger, now requires training in my 40s Posting here bc it’s easier to post things I feel good about and I want to balance that, and despite feeling shitty about the results, I am still satisfied I came out and tried and I know tomorrow will be easier

I used to breakdance when i was 20 yo. I'm 37 and i think I would break literally if i attempt to do a "baby freze" now :) its fine. You gotta maintain your physical form with constant training if you want to keep at your level. Otherwise it's impossible unfortunately. Nothing to be disappointed about. It is what it is

oh! i had to google baby freze - I bet your brain can still feel the motion though right and maybe trying to convince your body you can still do it? (or is that just what my brain does to me?)

Actually i tried and i can do a baby freeze 😅 perhaps the "windmill" is something that would break me in pieces )))
