A number of the alt-L1s from prior cycles will re-emerge as L2s in this cycle:

Flow -> Frame, Blast
Polygon -> Polygon zkEVM
Terra -> Fraxtal
Ripple, Omni -> Base (Base has broader ambitions but the stablecoin tie up and offramps seems like a core advantage)

I think the alt-L1s will remain, but there will be a mirror image on L2 to capitalize on the Ethereum alignment wave

What's more interesting is will there be another mirror across other rollup ecos (Celestia, Avail, etc)?
