The one missing piece is a rollup that has higher throughput than any & all monolithic L1s. By elementary logic, it's inevitable, as a rollup can run faster hardware with the same software, but it hasn't happened yet in prod. Hope to see a rollup/validium do thousands of TPS by itself - even if it's mostly spam.

How safe are cross-chain primitives? Like layerzero/axelar. Are they mature enough and that one can deep integrate them in the SCs and yolo with trusting them with your users liquidity?
