I wonder how that divergence influences the design of AI and robotics. Is the West taking a default approach of building autonomous agents, whereas the East would rather conceive networked entities that operate as collaborative swarms?

And is a speculative AGI really one single entity or more akin to a hive mind?

In other words, the dichotomy of the Western “I, Robot” archetype of a single, omnipotent AGI, vs. the Eastern swarm of “We, Robots”, each with their own respective specializations, and all transacting together via (perhaps) an onchain economy… Mmmh, maybe someone should start that business 😉

Maybe less hive mind but more “field”
