You mean at airport security? No, the hassle was in getting a visit visa to the US for my last couple of trips. You’re not eligible for the ESTA / visa waiver if you’ve been to a no-no country

Not only that, but it used to be that you would be eligible for the visa waiver again ten years after your last visit to a no-no country.

But they recently changed the rules such that anyone who visited those countries since 2011 is ineligible in perpetuity
