Is it brushed aside as irrelevant, or as “wrong”? One problem with solipsism (still basic understanding here) is the perhaps-too-easy settling into individualism, selfishness, basically denial of the Other.

I don’t think second-order implications of solipsism (like denying others’ existence and agency) can logically make the premise wrong.
