Perhaps it's best to build with decentralization as first principle, especially in a decentralized space, than to play god after

The tradable NFTs represent product of reciprocity/mutuality from engaging with the offerings in "Menu" and they are sold using bonding curves. Since a trade involves way more than the sum of its visible/quantifiable parts, the NFTs are intended to capture the "process of a trade," rather than the trade itself. Anyone may purchase these NFTs with local stable currencies, such as $croissaint and $coffee you see in "Marketplace," and they are indeed ERC20 tokens. You may find mock usage stats of the currencies per NFTs to the right of the bonding curves. Hope that helps!

Not sure but if LETS and alternative currencies like time dolloars can work onchain yet but the digitization and efficiency it unlocks seem to make sense and probably welcome in most places $LOCAL is an onchain coordination system inspired by LETS and flows with stable currencies. You can check out a prototype showing a mock coffee shop with its offerngs here https://arm0ry.g0v.tw/playground/bulletin, and the dynamic NFTS capturing the trading metadata and sold on bonding curves in the Marketplace https://arm0ry.g0v.tw/playground/commons-reports

"One bad signature will be able to drain your account on Ethereum after EIP-3074." Yes; this is true. 3074 coauthor here! Let me put this concern to rest a bit before it gets more out of hand.

"Civic never sleeps" Communities after epidemic must regain momentum to move forward together. In a year with many democratic countries holding elections, we hope that the g0v Summit can continue to remain a place to gather, listen, find common ground and build collaboration. https://summit2024.g0v.tw/en

DigiResiTh0n Social media got disconnected earlier this month. It's a reminder that we, and our gov that uses it for public announcement, need a backup social network to connect with each other in case of another blackout. Get together this weekend and learn (and join) projects building resiliency in our community!

I wonder if possible to aggregate these attestations (abi.decode?) onchain to mint as svg nfts (to preserve data chain) and fundraise with them.. Like aggregate runner distances, durations etc into runner nfts as proof of collective action for sale and jumpstart a running community that way

Sch001 零時小學校 "Sch001" project is a g0v project that focuses on education. It puts 0 and 1 representing the digital native generation in the "School" to invite everyone to rethink the meaning of school. Collaboration with Code for Japan: https://note.com/mamisada/n/na1349079ca0e

g0v Hackath0n Typical flow of hackath0n is: 1. ~15 3-min presentation 2. lunch 3. ~5 8-min talks 4. ~10 5-min presentations The next one, Hackath61n, is on Mar. 2nd, 2024 and in collab with Code with Japan. Most projects are in Mandarin but I'm here to help. Slots to present are still open if interested.

The only thing I will say for "ERC" 404 is that people pushing it are bad actors. Can create a smart contract any day. Can't make it a standard unless I discuss it with my peers via the established EIP process. "But Lefteris look at the price of the token! This is validation!" Shitcoin gambling doesn't interest me

History of g0v Unsatisfied with status quo, g0v began in '12 when a team competing in Yahoo’s Open Hack Day switched from online shopping project to a site that visualized TW government budget was being spent. With the prize from hack day, "g0v Hackath0n" (next one is 61!) was born, promoting FOSS and OS ethos.

As of Jan. 25, 2024, g0v is host to 60+ hackath0ns, 450+ github repos. g0v has created a safe space for projects to flourish, and many have carried the open-source ethos and principles into their own civic orgs. Others have created tools to further the g0v game (inc. this dashboard). https://g0v.tw/intl/en/dashboard/
