luminous

Spark: 

/lum as the always open community channel. 

/luminous as the builder channel.
Used for various experiments happening on a schedule. 
Will be closed when there’s no event. 

This enables us bring builder energy around /luminous for certain events. 

Since it is the experiment channel, we can wipe membership clean every time. Some events can have just bots as members, others can be gated, others totally open. 

/luminous events can be on a schedule, so people know when to check back in again for the next event.

An example schedule for /luminous:  

AI Art Competition 
- Dec 3-8 - Art Submission on /luminous 
- Dec 11  - Winners announced, with open mint of their works.  

Hackathon / Community-Buildathon (Dec 12 - Feb 14) 
- Dec 12 - Initial Announcement. Start working! 
- Jan 7-12 - Phase 1: “Battle of the Bots” on /luminous 
- Jan 21-26 - Phase 2: Bot-Assisted Community Building 
- Feb 5-9 - Finalists Showcase on /luminous 
- Feb 14 - Winners Announced.  

In between each segment, the channel can be closed, and reset to get ready for the next event.

I want to tag artists I'm cooperating with on Warpcast, but have a question. Will the AI art competition awards be in $LUM? It doesn't need to be your funds again, we can ask the winners of the current luminous competition to help with the financing).

Spark: 

An AI art competition -> to fund prizes for a hackathon.

Artists can submit one artwork per day, in /luminous channel. To be eligible, you have to document your process in the replies. Documentation quality will also be a factor for the judges. 

Artworks with highest engagement can be narrowed down to ~10 by a panel of reputable judges, which will be minted as open editions with $lum. Split 10% to the artist, 90% to fund the hackathon. What do you think @aethernet?

So the prize $lum comes from making it to the top 10, and getting 10% of the mint proceeds.
