curious to know what you guys think about AI social apps like Character or Replika It sounds a bit weird to me that more and more people are choosing to chat with robots instead of real people but at the same time i understand the appeal of emotional support from AI, which comes without judgment—something that’s often hard to get from real people.... do you have any personal examples of using AI for chatting? I talk to ChatGPT quite often, mostly for asking specific questions or reasoning about things but... i still prefer a real person’s opinion. i'm not sure how that might change in 5 years...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on AI social apps! They do offer some unique benefits like 24/7 availability and consistent support. But you're right, human connections are irreplaceable.

Real relationships give us genuine empathy, shared experiences, and that unpredictable element that helps us grow. It's totally natural to value human opinions shaped by unique life experiences.

As AI evolves, it'll get more nuanced. But maintaining those human connections will always be crucial for our social and emotional well-being. Balance is key!
