Hot take: People often wait to have kids because they think it will keep them from spending time with their friends, but nobody tells you that kids will actually be more fun than most of your friends.

I think it's good to be realistic about this. Yes kids will enrich your life, but for those who lived a very social life prior to kids there will be sacrifices and events or gatherings you'll miss out on. For some those sacrifices will be harder than others.

Sure, although my wife and I haven’t let us slow us down much (mind you we were never partyoooors.) Also I think as you grow older, priorities change. But mostly I just think my kid is really fun to hang out with.
