I don't think he's wrong that his product might have a better cultural fit on Solana, and I'm glad the sol ecosystem is being so supportive for him. I'm just not sure his impression of Base/evm users is accurate. My personal impression is that most users just want to see the ecosystem they're most invested in succeed.

BTC maxis here obviously being the exception. I think there's reasonable concerns about casino-fication of crypto, and the dangers of memecoins as a way to funnel money from unsavvy users to criminal organizations, but given the volumes I see, I don't think Base users view token trading as a cardinal sin.
