The provocateur and escalating force started as and continues to be Russia. They've consistently acted to worsen the war, now bringing in NK troops to fight on the ground. Don't fall for their posturing just because Ukraine gets a little more slack on the leash they've been put on.

This talking point is a brain worm literally planted by Russian operatives themselves. It's a framing that always makes Ukraine and the US look like they're the ones risking nuclear war when it's always been Russia! Imagine if Ukraine had official ground troop support from an allied country, there would be endless complaints about them escalating the war, yet Russia gets NK troops and no one bats an eye??

From Ukraine's perspective yes, but Russia isn't attacking the US. While Ukraine deserves help and support, the risk of nuclear war between the US and Russia can't be taken lightly.
