Having had some more time to play Tears of The Kingdom over the last few days left me wondering… I think it’s an amazing game, but really don’t love the combat and the lack of substance in 90% of content - quests are short and easy, same goes for temples and shrines. Am I alone in thinking this 😅?

Has anybody felt over the last years that YouTube tried to make the free option more and more clunky? Like Spotify. Freemium models are tricky…

I also believe there are examples of cases where a grand idea was so obviously worth betting on, that starting from it and narrowing it down to the first implementation worked great 🙂. Haven’t had a chance myself to work on such an idea yet, though.

It depends 🙂. I think that in the vast majority of cases, when you’re not 90%+ confident in your grand vision, it’s better to start small, learn, iterate and adjust the vision.

Watching the fifth season of Fargo. Loved the first three ones, need to catch up with the fourth… So far number five has surprisingly been a disappointment… I think it’s too slow and I don’t find myself being interested in the characters.

My reception of this pod was that Lex was running circles around the guy - he tried to get to a more nuanced conversation by asking deeper questions but was met with answers like “I don’t think it’s a problem.” Beff was also making some very strong assumptions and it didn’t he was even realizing that.

You’re not alone. I love rpg games and I really appreciated all the options DE was giving me, I liked the art direction and the writing… …but the story or the characters didn’t grab me, although I’m a philosophy graduate and passionate about sociology. Gonna try it again in a few months.
