Some days I feel like untouchable and other days, my kid is about to blow my gasket. Tips on keeping it cool? Already worked out :)

it's shocking how quickly kids rebound, forgive and keep wanting your attention after you blow a gasket. but i guess it's also because of that lack of regard that you blew a gasket in the first place π my long way of saying I'm also looking for tips!

I know that when I speak German I speak slower and calmer, but guess how many times I remember that when Iβm angry. I tell myself: another day, another chance (And 10 more years and then I can sleep and do whatever I want when I want)

Didn't say it was a calming language. The german word for butterfly is Schmetterling, which sounds like something that likes to destroy glass. I speak slower and thus calmer because I neglected to teach German to my kids. They know that when I speak French, they crossed THE line.
