"No Freedom of Reach" is freshman-dorm-room philosophy giving cover for appalling treatment of human beings

Both. I think the implementation of the Power Badge is deeply flawed, and have seen details around the edges that suggest they are loading it with more than will ever be admitted. Also, I don't want to be a freedom fighter! It's 2024 ffs and we have permissionless decentralized crypto rails

If you can come up with a better public algorithm and evidence it works better I will drive the campaign with all my (minor) influence. Until then I don't think much will change. I have some ideas on how to do it, but earning money takes priority....

welcome ur input in /bcbhshow where we are buidling a channel lite client: - Zen mode - optional PB display/usage in feed - purposeful intrusion of ads & decentralized features, which forces them to compete for user-permissioned attention - FOSS for others to fork and extend - gc, [TBC] office hours for FC buidlers

could use some dev lift to roll out a decentralized channel pins action: - copy-paste FOSS code for Decent Bookmarks - adapt for channel id rather than a user FID - confirm channel owner/curator permissions to pin/unpin HMU if interested in working on a smol FOSS project to benefit the decentralized ecosystem
