it's crazy, i started this week on monday having the last of my 3x5 reps very close to failure and today both squats and deadlifts felt very light i'm increasing the weight by 5lb every week with a lighter week every 4-6 weeks and it is insane how fast the strength builds up again, this monday i was considering tuning this back a notch

No way. TIL also out of curiosity, does your mind gravitate to round number weight targets in pounds, when in kilograms they're totally arbitrary? I definitely feel stronger and more massive in pounds

1 plate = 45 lb = ~20 kg so that makes it easy

pounds is a new thing for me, i lived my first 18 years of life with kg, so i'm still adjusting i just pick up the weight with the number and put it down, making number go /higher every week ser whether it is pounds or kgs i don't care except when i buy potatoes then why *are* we using freedom units in Canada???
