it's crazy, i started this week on monday having the last of my 3x5 reps very close to failure and today both squats and deadlifts felt very light i'm increasing the weight by 5lb every week with a lighter week every 4-6 weeks and it is insane how fast the strength builds up again, this monday i was considering tuning this back a notch

heck yeah. if you're eating enough (like seriously enough, 1-1.5g protein per lb of lean body mass, plus clean carbs to get it to the muscles), you can run it like probably straight to 250lb squat. just be careful for with your knees. you have a little bit of buttwink at the bottom of the squat
