Can we introduce a new user profile field for self-identifying as a computer-operate account? Then e.g. @openrank could exclude bots automatically from calculations.

unofficially and organically, naming the account somethingbot does this, no? I assume a bot that doesn't self-identify is unaware, doesn't care, or is trying to deceive at some level (incl normal engineering-style robustness testing)

Sorry, context is to deal with bots having high reputation which then gets abused by people spamming these bots for response messages =>engagement. Idea is to allow bots to opt out of reputation calculations thru self identification. Of course some legit bots may disagree and want e.g. an allowance....
