My Tesla is the only car I’ve ever had where I have to sit in the driveway reading forums and rebooting it, trying to resolve software bugs.

Current issue is that the backup camera just shows black, no matter what.

I’ve had this happen, you hold both buttons on the steering wheel to reboot the car That fixed it for me atleast 😅

rented a Tesla for the first time. Had to significantly reorient my approach: - ease up on gas, else it jerks - keep foot on gas while coasting, or the regen braking jerks - so much to look at on the screens - add 30 mins for charging rather than 2 mins for refueling my next car will likely be a hybrid not an EV

I’m not a Tesla defender and have my own issues with my wife’s Tesla, but those first three bullets are all managed after a week w the car, and the settings offer options to make “jerks” on accel/coasting less noticeable

It’s actually a blast to drive. But yes, too much crap on a screen.

you get used to the driving changes very quickly. charging isn’t that bad but it’s definitely longer than gas
