Love it. The real world provides much deeper wells of inspiration. They just tend to take more effort to find.

the nosferatu type is majestic!!! and yes it's honestly the best place to look for inspiration, especially now a lot of stuff on pinterest etc are AI generated crap 🫠 (but i digress)

My typeface design friend Teddy, who coincidentally did the Nosferatu type, is always digging in the library researching old books and manuscripts looking for inspiration. I’m honestly jealous of that.
