Does anyone have a good explanation on why Solana is more centralized than Ethereum? I can't tell if that's true, or just a meme (like how Bitcoin is more decentralized than Ethereum)

I don't have much information about Solana's validator set. On the Gnosis validator set, we focused on 3 main ideas: 1) geographical diversity, 2) hardware and software diversity, 3) more home stakers with lower financial and technological requirements. All of this moves us towards a decentralized network. I highly recommended Phil's amazing post about decentralized network. https://collective.flashbots.net/t/decentralized-crypto-needs-you-to-be-a-geographical-decentralization-maxi/1385
