I really don't understand this spam thing. What did the casters do to get in the spam? Isn't there a way for them to start casting and replying genuinely to get them off spam list? Are the low casters being listened to? Because i only see some top casters supporting the spam list, obviously because they know they would never get in there. So is there something they're doing different? This issue needs to be escalated now, because more and more people are getting in the spam list.

It's a matter of how you define spam. Tagging accounts you don't know, replying for engagement farming, sharing generic chatgpt texts or ai generated images for ham or masksetcetera: those were things we valued not being here before permissionless. If the main thing an account does falls in these categories, it might be why. I don't believe there's a dislike of small accounts. On the contrary.

I feel you New users are expected to actually learn as they go right, replying under top casters doesn't exactly have to be engagement farming, low accounts need to do that to at least be seen. Maybe I'm reading the "reply for engagement farming" differently too. But i think the system now seems too one-sided. It's understandable for top casters to have better advantage too, no complaints there. But with moxie showing up, we've really come to realize how much many weren't seen on farcaster. There's also the language barrier

There's 2 things to this, I think. Probably more, but let's focus on 2. It's good to raise this conversation, because although to some it feels like we've been here forever, this still is a still evolving platform, and that means experimenting with how to deal with things like spam. I think the developer team works hard to iterate and adjust. The second thing is that there is a difference between a low-effort comment (Thank you for posting, you are a king, ser, or the much memed wowow that even changes the like button), and a comment that shows some thought has gone into it, and attention has been paid to the original cast. Moxie is still very new. And if the big accounts interact with the smaller accounts, that delivers a lot of moxie to that smaller account. Even I (I consider myself a medium-sized account) got some posts (replies and tags) that were clearly just designed to get me to react to bring in some moxie. To be clear: I try to interact with smaller accounts, and help them grow.

Sorry I've been having problems accessing warpcast until now You make a very valid point too, and I appreciate you taking out your time to get me to understand. I think i get what you mean too, it makes a lot of sense now.
