genuine question: how did U2 become like the biggest band in the world (iTunes releases, Sphere residency, etc) when i (and a lot of people i ask) can’t really name more than two songs?

I think the real question here is why you (and a lot of people you ask) can only name 2 songs.

It's a generational thing, in the end. U2 was simply put the biggest act when I grew up. But that was a long time ago.

Anyway, sometimes it's better to enjoy the music than to ask why. Especially on a Beutiful Day
