seems like mods will have to actively pay attention and rank casts, but at the same time followers are incentivized to cast quality (one would hope 😂) to gain attention

Yep, agree. I love the experimentation. Also, you can share up to 3 casts per day in the channel. 

Active curation and limitation might actually work.

Although... there might be a use for rewarding attention to what is shared. Otherwise it becomes just another shill-channel. 

And yes, I'm guilty of that, too.
