Nice one. I like the idea of hyper curation. Also... the colour idea on YouTube sounds intriguing. One of the criticisms of YT is that they pull you into rabbit holes of ever extremer thoughts. Basing recommeded vids on thumbnail colour might expose us to much more varied content.

ha! maybe if they improve it but in my experience so far it's a fairly failed experiment. will check back in a month or so to see if they've improved or abandoned it. lately I'm getting more videos in my feed with under 1000 views and they've been surprisingly pretty decent.
