i have been writing a lot lately (yay!) and i'm in need of a much better digital writing experience on mac...do you have any favorites?

a gentle, dark color scheme option is probably my top concern (i am very tired of being blinded by google docs...it's super harsh 🫠)

Joplin is open source, cross platform, encrypted, and free. I have it synced across Windows/Linux/Android (it supports Apple devices too).

I use it for everything these days. There are various dark & light themes, or you can make your own.
