Anyone ever use a BBS (Bulletin Board Systems)? 

BBSes were a formative part of my growing up, and a critical step pre-internet for connectivity and information access.

I used to dial into these all the time on my modem and spend entire nights on various BBSes, before internet became commonly accessible.

BBSes were originally text-based, so the UI was always a /cli affair. Some BBSes like Roboboard FX and First Class started supporting higher resolution EGA/VGA UIs, but never quite took off.

There's something really magical about text-based BBSing IMHO.

Hmh, something like this to browse Farcaster would be kinda cool ngl

Of course with a lil' more modern UI :D
