I have an /art gallery in my /allotment garden. Last month at the end of the exhibition, the artist @oculardelusion made an art video of the de-installation ceremony. Give @oculardelusion a follow and let her know what you think of her poem/sculpture.

Definitely I had to read twice and watch the video when it was mentioned that the installation was at an allotment!

Here is a bit more about the piece – it evolved out of the strict restrictions of the location. 🌱 https://www.karenfranceseng.com/any-gleeful-god

A great piece I was honored to exhibit. Restrictions can be a great fuel to creativity. It's not that I'm a "strict" person, just that I can't provide electricity connection at the gallery, and the morning sun shines strong at the spot, causing some pigments to fade fast. And of course, the space is very small.

Like plants, art too, must thrive under harsh conditions. 🙏

Yes – and I really love how this piece could not have come about in any other way. All the chance circumstances (people, places, physical parameters, etc) coalesced in this one moment to form exactly this very specific thing. Very satisfying! 🥰
