Hot take: while the Warpcast rewards are a great bootstrapping mechanism, it is not sustainable as it comes out of the Merkle team pockets.

All the new folks out here (seen some journos) appreciate it, but unless a p2p economy is established here (degen tipping, brands as advertisers), this may be short lived.

I agree it's cheap, but not self sustaining. Most of crypto  is taking VC money and distributing it to users. Very limited value creation.

This is actually cheap though 

Not only because they raised $130M afaik and pay $300k base salary

But it’s an order of magnitude less than many token incentives (iirc Blast was giving out millions of $ per month, look how that went)

And cheap even by Uber standard - they burned through billions to get to scale

Comparing with the raise, rewards are too small I feel. They can distribute to more folks.
