I don't give a shit how your git grass looks like. Is your app performant? Do users get the intended ‘aha’ moment? At what rate are they delighted? Is it used for its primary function? Is it sustainable? Does it make money? This is the metric.

works well until tech debt takes over ( if you take bad engineering decisions just to ship faster for a v long time period)
