Builders don't generally care WHO is providing their data (i.e. Quicknode, Alchemy, Moralis, Zapper, Noves), which is why it's so common to work with 5 to 10 different data providers.

People just want the data they want, period. Like dex aggregators, so will we soon have data aggregators.

they also don't care about whether the data being fetched is from a centralised or decentralised methodology - the data just needs to be accurate with minimal downtime of the service.

Also true. At least definitely in the short term. Maybe medium term and long term this becomes more of a need to have, but mostly just nice to have if the source is decentralized.
