Builders don't generally care WHO is providing their data (i.e. Quicknode, Alchemy, Moralis, Zapper, Noves), which is why it's so common to work with 5 to 10 different data providers. People just want the data they want, period. Like dex aggregators, so will we soon have data aggregators. "I want XYZ data on XYZ chain" > "I'm willing to pay up to XYZ amount" > solvers match to data providers > competition on capability/cost/uptime/accuracy > pull requested data from data provider > - [swaps] from [Odos] on [Arbitrum] - [prices] of [LP tokens] on [UniswapV3] - [wallet-summary] on [Base] for [0x00] standardize data output > data delivered to requester. — This is the future of data access.

they also don't care about whether the data being fetched is from a centralised or decentralised methodology - the data just needs to be accurate with minimal downtime of the service.

Also true. At least definitely in the short term. Maybe medium term and long term this becomes more of a need to have, but mostly just nice to have if the source is decentralized.
