A bikepacking tip from King Cage for securing Voile straps onto cages so they don't fall off when disconnected: Use ~1" diameter o-rings to attach the strap and cage at one or more contact points. Works brilliantly.

Do it! I made a small seat bag with the same material, before these. Itโ€™s really not too complicated. You start with a full size drawing, make each of the sides, then sew them together along the edges, inside out. To finish, flip it through one of the open zips. The format hides any poor sewing pretty well, actually. I used a standard sewing machine but you could hand stitch, would just take more time.

Rather broad category there. What kind of riding do you plan on doing? We talking crazy fast, aero track bike for velodrome or a bombproof, low-maintenance city cruiser that you won't worry about locking up? Either way State Bike Co. might be worth a look if you are in the US and are budget conscious at all. If you are looking for something fancier, I've got some other suggestions.

I am a destroyer of bike parts ๐Ÿ˜ˆ I appreciate a smooth, quiet drivetrain but Iโ€™m banginโ€™ gears and not cleaning as much as I should ๐Ÿ™‚
