Frame building update: I’ve planned all along to flip this down tube with the taper facing out, but now it’s go time and I’m wrestling with it. It’s really meant to face the other direction, with the pointy side up, based on the principles of aerodynamics I guess, but I think it gives a nicer finish at the BB upside down and makes bottle bosses easier to mount on a wider, flatter edge. I can’t imagine it makes much difference in terms of stiffness on oversized tube like this, but will it look weird? 🤔 What do you think?
