My ~/Projects with the super basic folder icon is in shambles

You can easily swap folder icons in Mac OS!
Right click, open the 'Get Info' window, click the icons to select them, copy, and paste.

I do this when I want to switch apps long term, for example if I want to switch from vscode to cursor, I change cursor icon to vscode to trick my brain and delete vscode

Came across this functionality many years ago in college when I disguised a simple script file as a custom app that could be “docked”. Project was to ‘repackage’ something, so I reimagined a Wii controller as a creative computer input. Made a USB(B! good times) box/cradle that doubled as the sensor. Iirc it was a Processing program that turned the controller into a customizable “mouse.”

Also fun fact that you can customize the folders entirely with custom images (I have a friend who color codes his and uses different icons for each)
